About

Hello! My name is Dongwon Jung. I am a first-year Ph.D. student at UC Davis advised by Prof. Muhao Chen. Previously, I completed my Master's Degree in Computer Science at USC, where I started my NLP research and joined LUKA Lab. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU).

My research interst lies in Natural Language Processing and Information Retrieval, with a particular focus on Retrieval Augmented Generation and LLM-based Agents.

• How to effectively combine the LLM's internal knowledge with retrieved knowledge to solve knowledge-intensive tasks?
• How to improve LLM-based agents to accomplish goals that are beyond their current capabilities?
